Remember, cleaning agents which contain solvents are most definitely to be avoided. They can ruin all your furniture.

Always clean in the direction of the timber’s grain, so that the dirt will be wiped out of the pores. To finish, carefully dry the veneers with a soft cloth.

In difficult cases, i.e. removing old grease particles, shoe polish or felt pens scribble e.t.c. methylated spirits or glass cleaner is suitable. Beware, immediately after, wipe over with a moist cloth and use a soft cloth for drying.
