Knives should be stored in a knife block or magnetic rack to protect their blades. Have you seen the racks? It’s what I use and I love it.

HOW TO CLEAN AND CARE FOR WOODEN SALAD BOWLS

I really couldn’t survive without my wooden salad bowl. It’s versatile for everything from leafy green salads, to being lined with a cloth napkin and serving as a bread bowl.

When it’s time to wash your bowl, simply clean it inside and out with warm water and a mild detergent. No heavy scrubbing required! Dry the bowl with a cloth or paper towel, and then let it air dry completely before putting it away. NEVER put a wooden bowl in the dishwasher, and do not leave it to soak in water. That’s a sure invitation to warping and/or cracking.
